rfid tag designed for oil & gas tracking

With more than 10 years experience utilizing RFID to track assets around the world and in some of the most inhospitable environments on the planet,OPPIOT speicializes in tracking asset in harsh conditions. We have designed tags that excel in these conditions and outperform any of the self tag on the market. Unlike most tags that are supposedly designed for Oil & Gas, our tags were built from the core to be applied to Oilfield assets. Many tags are initially designed as “non-metal” tags and are then modified by simply adding more plastic or rubber to the tag setting it higher off the metal asset. Our tags were designed from day one for application on metal surfaces and with the highest impact resistance. In addition to providing tags that are specific to Oil & Gas, we also provide the ability to take the asset management solution into the field over a cellular connection. Most RFID solution providers only offer ‘On-Site’ tracking of assets utilizing Wireless connection to their servers. Not only is our solution built for use in the harsh environments often associated with Oil & Gas work, our software is unique and customized for each client. Allowing for management and tracking that integrates seamlessly into your current work flow. We pride our selves in incorporating our solutions with your business in a way that minimizes changes in your current workflow. We adapt our systems and software to how YOU do business. At OPPIOT, we understand the frustrations associated with rolling out new processes and software solutions and we design each system around our clients current operations.

In addition to asset management, the biggest concern for our Oil & Gas clients is tracking and managing asset certifications. Ensuring that assets in operation out in the field are always up to date on certifications and inspections is one of, if not THE, highest priority for our clients. The predominant method for verifying certifications consists of trying to read and record certification bands that are often damaged, buried in mud or even painted over. In many instances, tags may be in good condition but simply can not be read on an asset that is rigged up due to the orientation of the tag. Our tags do not require line of sight, and can never be misread. Unlike cert bands and even barcode, our tags allow for rapid scanning of bulk assets to verify certiciation dates. With our Mobile VPN System, we can extend your company’s ability to monitor certifications on assets to remote sites out in the field.

RFID Applications in Medical Waste Disposal Trace Management

RFID application in the medical has been more common, mainly used in the doctor rounds, nursing nursery ward hanging water, to the patient feeding and so on. (Specific system application, refer to the article: RFID used in medical wireless infusion management system.) Medical waste in the presence of infectious bacteria, viruses, chemical pollution and radioactive substances are extremely dangerous, is considered “top dangerous “And” deadly killer “.

RFID medical waste disposal management system is the use of radio frequency identification technology, satellite positioning technology, network technology, to achieve the medical waste generation, recycling, transportation, processing and other monitoring and tracking the whole process.

System problems and challenges
1.the data is not preserved (paper data is easy to damage, difficult to save and take up space).
2.the operation is not standardized (the staff is not strong sense, the packaging is not standardized, the transfer does not follow the requirements of the implementation, etc.).
3.training and management costs are high (personnel mobility, training waste a long time; most training for the repeated training, waste of human and material resources).
4.illegal misappropriation of regulatory difficulties (for private profits illegal betting, despite repeated prohibition, targeted drilling management loopholes).

RFID wristbands application in PATIENT MANAGEMENT

RFID WRISTBAND FOR PATIENT MANAGEMENT

RFID technologies offer different re-writability options, memory sizes, and tag forms, and can be read from anywhere within range of the RFID reader. Some RFID labels can hold more data than barcodes, and can be read automatically without any user intervention required.

Similar to barcode applications in healthcare, RFID Wristband For Patient Management has found intriguing applications for improving the delivery of healthcare and welfare of patients in hospitals.

RFID Wristband For Patient Management is one of the most common methods used in hospitals. In this approach, the medical staff writes basic information on a plastic or paper-based wristband to identify the patient, this method can be used to complement the chart-based identification.

Mifare RFID Classic card

The Mifare Classic RFID card is fundamentally just a memory storage device, where the memory is divided into segments and blocks with simple security mechanisms for access control. They are ASIC based and have limited computational power. Thanks to their reliability and low cost, these cards are widely used for electronic wallet, access control, corporate ID cards, transportation or stadium ticketing.

The Mifare Classic 1k offers 1024 bytes of data storage, split into 16 sectors; each sector is protected by two different keys, called A and B. They can be programmed for operations like reading, writing, increasing value blocks, etc. Mifare Classic 4k offers 4096 bytes split into forty sectors, of which 32 are same size as in the 1K with eight more that are quadruple size sectors. Mifare Classic mini offers 320 bytes split into five sectors. For each of these card types, 16 bytes per sector are reserved for the keys and access conditions and can not normally be used for user data. Also, the very first 16 bytes contain the serial number of the card and certain other manufacturer data and are read only. That brings the net storage capacity of these cards down to 752 bytes for Classic 1k, 3440 bytes for Classic 4k, and 224 bytes for Mini.

The simplicity of the basic cards means that they are inexpensive, which is largely the reason for their success in large-scale deployments.

How to select Passive RFID UHF tag?

RFID passive UHF RFID tag with its small size, read and write distance, reading and writing speed, cheap, and many other advantages of being user attention. Currently, the market a wide range of passive UHF RFID product range more and more, how to choose the right application for their own solutions and UHF RFID tags have become of particular concern to the majority of users.

Through extensive listening to the views of industry experts, and synthesize and summarize, we want users to buy passive UHF RFID tags, you should pay particular attention to the following questions:

First, in the purchase of UHF RFID tags, we must understand the passive UHF RFID-related knowledge and important parameters indicators, such as: label size, frequency, storage space, package, reading distance range of applications and so on. In the UHF project application, the label is the key to success of the project products, so choose what kind of label is very important throughout the project implementation, the user must be a clear understanding of the important parameters related tag index

Second, when the user selects the electronic tag neither blind pursuit of high-performance products, and do not the blind pursuit of low prices, selection tailored to specific application requirements electronic tag is the most important.

Third, users in the RFID project launched when the decision to establish an idea: RFID technology is not a panacea, the application of RFID technology at the same time, we must facilitate the management of the transformation process in order to truly be effective. So, in the purchase of electronic labels,
