OPP2019 High Temperature Industrial Tags

OPP2019, is the pop star of the OPPIOT series of tags, specialized in high temperature solutions for different applications that require high temperature.  The tag can withstand temperatures as high as 280°C for limited exposure times(280°С for 50 minutes, 250°С for 150minutes), which most tags in the current markets can’t meet this temperature.

The tag size is only D20mm, but the reading distance can be up to 3 meters with fixed reader, give you great impression on tag function. The two holes on the tag so you can easily screw the tag on your application.

Passive RFID Tags

Passive RFID tags have an antennae or receiving coil, which collects and stores energy transmitted by the reader. The tag then emits a short burst of energy, encoded with the critical information it is communicating. Passive tags only transmit when they have been energised by a reader.

Passive tags tend to be cheaper and smaller, and their life is only limited by the reliability of their components. They can be expected to function for decades. The range at which the tags can be read depends on their frequency of operation, and the power of the reader. Range can vary from less than a centimeter to several meters.

The ability to read a tag is affected greatly by the reader. Readers can be fixed, or integrated with a portable handheld computer. In mobile applications some readers are still relatively bulky and large, with the transmitting and receiving antennae being three or four inches high and just as wide. Others are smaller, sometimes with a reduced read range as a consequence.

A Definition of Asset tag

Asset tags, also referred to as asset lables, identify any number of physical assets, from equipment and tools to racks and machines. Asset tags are used to identify physical assets and feature serial numbers or barcodes for identification purposes. Most asset labels have adhesive backing and are made of anodized aluminum, laminated polyester, vinyl, or foil. The more durable the asset label, the easier it is for the organization to conduct asset identification, tagging, and tracking.
