Dual Frequency Card is a single card with two Different operating frequency technologies. It can be
customized in different bands, it can operate in both HF and UHF environment or in different bands of
UHF.
It is also known as Combi Card or Hybrid Card. This form of smart card is growing in popularity
because it provides ease-of-use and high security in a single-card product.
The dual-frequency card – has tow or more types of chips that can be accessed through either high
frequency antenna or low frequency antenna.
